MCS Software Engineer

>Equivalent to an HND / BSc in an industrial computing discipline
>2 to 5 years experience in PLC / Scada systems preferably in an oil / Gas related company
>Specification, design and configuration of SCADA software including:
>Preparation of functional specifications, design documentation, interface specifications, I/O lists, alarm philosophy(EEMUA 191) and user manuals
>HMI Configuration - iConics, VTS, Wonderware inTouch and proprietary Windows based products.
>Development and testing of logic including PLC and proprietary Windows based products (including XML)
>Configuration of communication interface drivers including Modbus, OPC and serial protocols
>Preparation and execution of test documentation ensuring compliance with relevant specifications and standards
>Safety systems (SIL) to IEC 61508/61511.
>Working knowledge of:
>Plant automation systems for process control including DCS systems
>Industrial communications including Modbus, OPC, Profinet, CANOpen general TCP/IP and serial
>IP Networking design and configuration (CISCO)
>Automation cabinet and panel design
